Kathleen
M. Bynum, D.O., P.A.
Medical Training
Kathleen Bynum, D.O. completed her medical training at the University
of North Texas Health Science Center of Fort Worth and graduated in 1990
with honors. She completed her Family Practice residency at the Osteopathic
Medical Center of Fort Worth in 1993. During her 3rd year of residency
she was the chief resident.
Acupuncture Training
Dr. Bynum's initial acupuncture training was completed through the UCLA
acupuncture program for physicians during 1993 and 1994. In early 2001,
she completed the 4-year Advanced Traditional Chinese Acupuncture program
for physicians taught by Anita Cignolini, M.D., sponsored by the University
of Southern California Keck School of Medicine.
Board Certifications
She is board certified in both Family Practice and Acupuncture.
Medical Association Memberships
She is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American Academy
of Medical Acupuncture, Texas Medical Association, and the Dallas County
Medical Association.

Practice
Dr. Bynum has practiced in the Dallas area since 1993 upon finishing her
Family Practice residency. Her practice is now focused exclusively using
Traditional Chinese Acupuncture.
